  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I started working out with Lauren when she taught a pop-up class at 3rd Street Dance in what must have been around 2006. I have worked out with her in fits and starts since then, following her to her home studio for many years and then finally to the LEKFIT Studio on La Brea where I have been attending class in earnest since this past summer!
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I feel so fit and strong. I look at my body in the mirror and am so pleased with what I see - which is saying a lot post babies and C-Sections. 
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • How it makes me feel. I know that I am taking care of myself during that hour. And it's fun. 
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I love seeing my girls in the morning and gabbing before class starts. And all of the ladies at the front desk are beyond helpful and positive. Really nice way to start the day.  
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Stick with it and have fun with it, and I promise you will see results.

  • Since January of 2020
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I have lost weight, gained energy, and my mental health has improved so much!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • Taking that hour out of the day to get out of my head and drop into my body and MOVE! I also love that I can just show up and press play each day with the Daily Drops.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • How helpful everyone is and how honest everyone is about their journey.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • HANG IN THERE and the results will come. It’s tough, but it’s supposed to be. It is worth it!

OLIVIA

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I've been going to LEKFIT since late October 2023. I live within walking distance to the studio which made it an easy choice for me! I was looking to get back into working out after a yearlong break and wanted to try something new.
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I have mostly noticed non-scale victories-- my endurance is better, my balance is a lot better, and I am getting stronger!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • I love how the LEKFIT workouts are always different so I can never get bored. I also love that the music switches up and get excited when some of my new favorite songs become a part of the workout!
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I love how supportive everyone is! I don't feel ashamed for needing to take a break, go lower on weight, or being a beat behind others in class. As long as you're giving it your all you will reap the rewards!
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Give it a proper try for a few weeks and be consistent. I started with the first class free, and even though I felt so awkward on the rebounder at first, within a few weeks I got my membership! Also-- don't sleep on DEFINE :)

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I’ve been working out with LEKFIT since 2022. A friend recommended to me and I’m so happy she did!
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I have seen my body change so much! I see my muscles clearly and feel them toning and building. My body continues to get stronger and it’s been so cool to watch and feel it. I have been looking and feeling SO fit. I picked up roller skating as a hobby a few years ago and feel that LEK has been instrumental in building up my leg muscles for it!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • My favorite thing about my LEK workout is watching by body in the mirror during class. My body works so hard and I love seeing it! My favorite used to be watching the instructors bodies during the workout- they are so fit it’s amazing to watch. But over time I’ve switched to watching myself and I consider it a huge testament to the dedication I’ve made to my body at LEK and I love it!
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • The community is welcoming and we collectively love LEK. I am inspired by the team and everyone taking the class. We are all there to follow the instructors lead, feel the burn and let it all go at the end of class. It’s a great feeling!
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Take the Mat Strength + Tone class! It took a while for me to try it because I love the Cardio Rebounder class, but I feel that Mat has really transformed my body and is now my favorite class.

AMANDA

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I’ve been working out at lekfit since 2021
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I’ve noticed major changes in my body. I dropped two jeans sizes and my arms are more toned then they’ve ever been, my clothes fit better and I sleep really well as a result of all the lymphatic drainage from jumping on the rebounder. My skin is also really the best it’s ever been, if I miss a few days I can see it immediately in my complexion! LEKFIT makes you GLOW inside and out!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • My absolute favorite thing about the classes is the way you feel when you are in that room. It’s an emotional workout in the very best way. I always channel whatever I need to work out in my brain when I am doing the daily classes. I come out really focused and clear about my work and my daily tasks. It truly is a mind body experience.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I love my lekfit community. We always joke that the things we discuss in the waiting room need their own reality show. We laugh together, share parenting and life tips and support each other. Lekfit is also a really welcoming space. Anyone new is always welcomed with smiles and encouragement. There is NO judgement to anyone’s level of ability ever!
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Stick with it. It’s hard to commit to something that involves physical and mental strength but once you do your body and mind love you back for it!!!

Meghan

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I started with LEKFIT at home before there was an app, in the very early days. I believe the classes were through the website. I just recently joined the studio (May 2024) - I was ready to workout with other people outside of my house. I am so glad I did!
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • The biggest change is I am so happy ! LEKFIT classes make me feel so good for the rest of the day, in mind and body. Physically, my balance is improving and lifting 10lbs weights is getting easier every class.
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • I love that the class moves change so often. When you enter the studio you don’t know what equipment you need to get to do the class. I also love the class pace and that one move is done for a whole song. The music is incredible. The studio lighting is so good. My most favorite part is that LEK says at the end of each class “let it all go”. I like hearing that before I go out into the world. Honestly, there is not anything I do not like about the classes.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • The LEKFIT team sets the tone of the studio when you first walk in. Everyone is so warm and helpful and taking such good care of all of us and the studio. The other members are so welcoming and positive. The community and the studio have a very good energy to them.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Follow the teacher (moves & cues) and keep coming back. Also, trust LEK - she is the body whisperer.

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I have been working out at LEK since this studio space opened, I believe it was I 2020? I almost can not even remember the year! The studio had not even had the rebounders in it just yet.
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I have felt so many changes physically since working out with LEK. I am strong and I feel strong each day when I am in the studio and am actually able to do each move. My arms and legs are toned like I’ve never seen before with any other workout, ever! I have increased My stamina 5x since doing the LEK workout almost every single day.
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • Not only have I seen these many physical changes over the time that I have been working out at LEK, my mental strength is why I continue to come each day. It is my outlet, a place I can safely move my energy and know once I leave, I am in a space to get through any challenges or wins I may have throughout the day.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I absolutely adore all of the women I have met, become friends with, and get to start my days with. There is a true community at LEK. We have fun, we share, we support one another, those ladies rally around me when I’ve needed it! And, there is no better place to get Fashion & beauty tips:)
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • My advice to someone just starting would be to stay consistent and let LEKFIT fan the flames of the sexy commanding being that is you. You will never do anything more rewarding.

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I have been doing LEKFIT since 2017 after I had my third son and it has changed my life. I’ve never been this consistent at any workout method before this. It’s ever changing and tremendously engaging.
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I’ve seen so many changes in my body. My muscle tone is better than when I was a teenager and my endurance continues to increase not to mention my mood is incredibly lifted after any LEK workout.
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • My favorite thing about LEK is how intentional it is. I’ve never felt more empowered and strong. My time at LEKFIT is not only a physical workout but also a meditation. It feels like I’m feeding my soul and my body.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • The community is next level. Lauren has a very high caliber of clientele. I’ve made a tremendous amount of meaningful relationships that have grown inside and outside the studio. I’m inspired by each and every member of the community and I think we motivate each other.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • My advice to someone just starting would be to stay consistent and let LEKFIT fan the flames of the sexy commanding being that is you. You will never do anything more rewarding.

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I began my LEKFIT journey about a year ago. I have been streaming other classes and have really enjoyed them. However, when I came across LEKFIT I knew I had to try it and that’s when my obsession with this class began. Once in a while I visit one of the other streaming classes I used to do and it is almost impossible to stay engaged. LEKFIT is too engaging and fabulous. To try to do any other workout is impossible!
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • Since starting my LEKFIT journey I have seen great changes in my body. My legs are leaner and my core is tighter. My arms are also more defined. I have five children and honestly, I am in better shape now than I ever was. I really did not think it was possible. The changes though are so much more than the physical changes. I am energized and just happier throughout the rest of my day. The rebounding must get my endorphins going because it really sets the mood for my day.
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • There are so many things I love about LEKFIT. For starters it is a fabulous workout. I love the energy and the combination of cardio and strength training. Also, as adults we so rarely play. This class, although working so hard and trying to do that last rep, it feels like play to me which is so important. In addition, I love that even though I stream classes from home I still feel like I am part of the classes and community. I also love that there are so many classes available to me and it is fantastic the new classes drop every day. It is impossible to get bored with all of these options.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • It is wonderful to be part of a community. It is nice to connect and be inspired by other people doing these classes.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • The best advice I can give someone is to just get out of their own way and start. Start anywhere, but just start. I would add that it may feel awkward in the beginning but not to feel intimidated because after you get comfortable on the rebounder it becomes so much fun and addictive!

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I started streaming LEKFIT at the beginning of 2020 and started coming into the studio over the past 6 months or so. I now go almost everyday to the studio and when I am unable to come in due to my work schedule, I will stream it at home.
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • I will start by saying that I have tried everything; spinning, kickboxing, elliptical, pilates, you name it. After having 2 kids, I noticed that nothing I was doing was really tightening my core, or toning my muscles. As a working mom, I don't have time to do multiple workouts. Since doing LEKFIT, my entire body is stronger and more toned than when I was in my 20's!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • I don't know where to begin. I love that it's a different workout everyday. Lauren is truly magic in the way she choreographics every class so you never get bored, or know what's coming next. Coming into the studio is next level and for me- it's the best way to start my day. It grounds me and helps alleviate stress and anxiety. Lauren is beyond inspiring to me in many ways.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I've met really wonderful women who are so friendly and kind. It feels supportive and motivating.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Don't feel intimidated- I was really nervous to come into the studio at first. I am not a dancer (at all!) and I didn't think I would be able to follow the class. It isn't easy, but that's why you get results. If you commit to it, you will be obsessed like me. Lauren and the team are warm and welcoming, so give it a shot. You will not regret it.

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I started working out with LEK in 2020 but it wasn’t until 2021 that I truly invested. I purchased the rebounder, all the equipment and it was set! 2 years later and we’re still together ;)
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • That is a question with many different answers! When I first started LEK, my body wasn’t used to all the different types of equipment. The most weight I had ever used was 3 pounds hand weights and MAYBE 5 pound ankle weights here and there. As I started getting older, I realized I needed some more resistance training and cardio. I started dabbling in some traditional weight training programs and every single time I was left feeling exhausted, angry, emotional and STARVING. Same experience when I did cardio routines like running or dance (lets also not forget to mention the fact that I’m NOT a dancer and learning cardio routines is extremely frustrating for me…). When I tried LEK, I was excited, albeit nervous, to see her incorporate NO LESS than 3 pound hand weights and ankle weights, 6 pound ankle weights, bands, tubes AND dumbbells that reach all the way up to 10 pounds. I was relieved to find that these workouts do NOT leave me feeling all the bad ways I was left feeling before.The different equipment helps challenge my muscles in different ways. I’m stronger but have still maintained my feminine body structure that I love, my endurance is higher because of the cardio, and because of the STRATEGIC way LEK puts together her workouts, my love for pasta and wine fits right into my life! ;)
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • I love that its MINE. I’m a mom and step mom of 5 teenagers, a wife to a husband who really truly loves to spend time with me, and my Job as a nutrition consultant keeps me very busy. My time with LEK on the rebounder/mat is just that; MY TIME. I love that Lauren gently reminds us to leave the cellphones, the hard parts of life and all the things they may be weighing us down at the door. All of that will be there waiting when we are finished. From the very beginning she leads us into the space of movement and at the very end its 4, 3, 2, 1 and we LET.IT.ALL.GO! You cannot help but end and feel better than when you started.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I can only speak for the online community and the ONE time I was able to visit the studio in LA. The online community is EXCITED! There’s no drama, no talk of “what leggings is she wearing now?” Amazon purchases for leggings is JUST fine LOL! I love that Lauren keeps in simple and so does the community. The Facebook group is always there to answer questions and the LEKFIT team is quick to respond to anything we need. The time I visited the studio in LA, everyone was so kind, the members were welcoming and Lauren doesn’t skimp out on us streamers! We get the same energy as the studio members.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Don’t quit before the magic happens. It does require a bit of commitment. The equipment may seem overwhelming at first but its all worth it! Start slow..Take your time and trust the process!

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I have been working out consistently with LEK since April of this year. I went on a trip to Costa Rica that month and when I looked at the photos I didn't recognize myself in them. I had had two years of non stop IVF treatment that resulted in four back to back miscarriages. I was carrying 20 extra pounds, I was exhausted and I had no idea where to start when it came to exercise. When I came to LEK I was ready for a positive change. I wanted to feel good again, inside and out.
  • What changes have you seen in your body since you began working out with us?
  • My waist has become smaller by almost two inches, my legs have become a lot leaner and I have never received so many compliments on my shoulders before. Having said all that, the part of my body that feels it the most is my mind. I am so much happier when I move my body every day. I can do LEKFIT every single day. And when I don't, it feels like something is missing.
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • There are so many things I love about the LEKFIT workout. I love that it is in a heated room with infrared lighting. It feels like my body is heating up from the inside out in an organic way. I love the music. I get to dance every day, move, sweat and basically go to the club at 9.30am. I get such a good sweat. I feel like my toxins don't even stand a chance. They know they have got to go. And if I had a high-sodium meal the night before (hi sushi, I'm talking to you!) The next day at LEK I can almost feel the salt leaving my pores. Apart from the fact that my muscles get stronger, I feel like I'm doing a cleanse every time I do a workout.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I have made such great friends at LEK. I was brought to LEK by a friend and I am grateful to her. We talk about any and all things before class. I run a company (Tailor Here) and a lot of the other women there do too. We come up with business ideas, we talk home, love, shop and all of the above. Everyone is so friendly and no matter what we have on our plates, we know that for one hour a day, we are winning together. And that is a great feeling.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • I would say come with an open mind and heart. Even if it's a challenge to start exercising, know that everyone is in it together. Say hi to someone you don't know, I'm pretty sure you will strike up a conversation that will leave you feeling like you are part of something fun and amazing.

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I have been doing this workout since January. I shoot for all seven workouts each week and have only missed one or two the entire time. They are too good to miss❤️.
  • What changes have you seen in your body + mind since you began working out with us?
  • I have worked out very consistently for years, but I have been pleased that this program has helped me lean out a little, find definition that I had lost (without adding bulk) and the workouts leave me truly energized for the day ahead.
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • All of it! As someone who is really committed to working out, I love that every single day as a challenge. I love that the program has a plan, and you simply login each day and move forward with the prescription. Every muscle is worked, and every single day my heart heart rate gets up. So, with that, it’s EVERYTHING! The fast paced cardio. The rebounder. The variety. The equipment. The daily drop, so every single day is different! All of it!
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • I love that the Facebook group is there for support, that LEKFIT engages with us and it feels like a community.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • Do it! Truly, this program can be modified for many levels, they’ve got workouts for when you travel, for when you are short on time or even when you have extra time and want a little more. I cannot recommend LEKFIT enough.

COURTNEY

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I started streaming as soon as LEK introduced the streaming service in 2018!
  • What changes have you seen in your body + mind since you began working out with us?
  • I noticed just how strong I am! Specifically during my pregnancy, as I continued to follow each weeks sets, I felt like my strength had the purpose of preparing my body for a repeat C-Section’s recovery as well as staying strong and healthy for my littlest love growing inside of me! Postpartum, I noticed that I didn’t have issues with lifting myself or my newborn up (C-section mamas know that feeling post op) and everything seemed to come back together so much more quickly because of the strength I maintained by continuing my LEKFIT workouts my entire pregnancy!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • My favorite thing is that although the workouts are all difficult (and I do sometimes curse your names for the burnout) they are so incredibly fun! The playlists always match the energy of the movements, and the cardio is so fun that I look forward to the daily drops!
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • The community that Lauren has cultivated is one that is so empowering! There is so much support that I feel in hearing other women’s testimonials and seeing highlights of everyone’s sweaty selfies and workouts! It’s a beautiful thing to have a community around women supporting and celebrating each other through each individual’s fitness journeys.
  • What advice would you give someone just starting with us?
  • The main piece of advice I would give would be don’t try to be perfect from the beginning! You don’t need to be a dancer, or be in “elite” physical shape to get started. You will figure out how to do an 8 count in your head, you will learn to tune into your body to feel the movement where it should be working, and you may feel a little bit like an awkward duckling through the dancey bits (I know I certainly still do from time to time) but you are crushing it, and you will feel more and more graceful the more you practice through each week’s videos/classes! 

    Little extra bit of praise…..

    The LEKFIT method is the only workout that I have ever stuck to in my entire adult life. I had previously started something that felt right or was trendy, but eventually there was always an excuse to take a day off, which turned to days off, to weeks off to no longer following. 

    LEKFIT’s methodology makes it impossible to want to quit. There is so much variety, and for an intense personality, like myself, all the cardio allows me to release any negative energy that may have built up during the day and surrender to the routine. 

    All of the physical benefits and results I have experienced over the years aside, the boost that this program has given my mental image of myself is something I will be forever grateful for. I actually love my body for every wrinkle, every stretch mark and every curve because it all is a piece of my journey. Lauren, and all of her instructor’s have helped build up that self love and acceptance through their encouraging words and insane positivity. They will all kick your butt through a workout, but man does it feel like an accomplishment everyday to do something purely for ME. I will forever be grateful for LEKFIT 🖤

RUTHIE

  • How long have you been working out with LEKFIT?
  • I have been doing Lekfit since November 2019! I did it for a few months in the pop-up studio, and then streamed it for 2 years, and then have been back in the studio doing it for about a year 5-6 times a week!
  • What changes have you seen in your body + mind since you began working out with us?
  • Overall I just feel so much stronger. Every week has new challenges, but I feel with my consistence to LEKFIT, my body accepts and loves the challenge. For me it is an hour a day, I completely unplug and do something entirely for myself. I always leave feeling energized and happy. My mind needs it as much as my body. I truly look forward to it!
  • What is your favorite thing about your LEKFIT workout?
  • It is always changing, so I never get bored, and honestly I find it to be so much fun! I am smiling inside the whole time. I get into the moves and the rhythms every week, and I find it is a great mental escape. I look forward to every Monday to find out what the challenges are going to be that week, and I get excited by the end of the week, when I finally feel like I’ve mastered some of them.
  • What is your favorite thing about the LEKFIT community?
  • Everyone is friendly and it’s not an intimidating place to work out. Also, the energy of the class makes it feel like you are all in it together, and makes the class speed by.

  • What are your 2021 resolutions?
  • Quit procrastinating, continue daily wellness and movement, try waking up an hour earlier for 'me time', be organized, start reading more, learn to bake bread, stop overthinking and have more patience.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • Community to me, is aggressively supporting each other. In the good, the bad, and the ugly. real, true investment in others.
  • Who inspires you?
  • I am inspired by women who are true to themselves, who work hard to be supportive of other women, step outside of their comfort zone in anyway, and give themselves permission to do big things, whatever that may mean to them.

  • How long have you been an LEKFIT member?
  • I have been a member since September 2020.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • The LEKFIT community is an incredibly supportive group of people. FEELING your best (mentally and physically) is always the emphasis over looking your best, which I really appreciate. people from all over the world cheer each other on, led by the incredible Lauren and her amazing team.
  • Who is someone that inspires you?
  • Over the past crazy year, I have been most inspired by my children. they were not supposed to have to deal with all of these challenges and they have looked on the bright side of everything.
  • What's a goal of yours?
  • One of my goals is to learn to manage anxiety better. I'm a natural worrier and 2020 and 2021 have really tested me, even though my challenges have been more manageable than so many others. Regular exercise is a huge part of that task for me, and I'm so glad to have LEKFIT to help.

  • What are your 2021 resolutions?
  • My resolution is to keep exercising, the health benefits I have had since starting LEKFIT are life changing, grateful for everyday and for what my mind and body can achieve now.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • The LEKFIT community is a diverse group of people with a wealth of love for the BOOST and sweat theory, plants, DIY, recipes, family and activism. you'll find it all here.. including your THUTT.
  • Who inspires you?
  • I'm inspired by a few LEKFIT community babes, but mostly Alex every time on our streaming sessions, he keeps pushing with endless positivity, even through hard days.

  • What are your 2021 resolutions?
  • No resolution is my new resolution! last year was a rough one so I think just making it through this pandemic is enough for me at the moment.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • Community is everything to me. It means people supporting people! caring about each other and doing whatever we can to lift others up.
  • Who inspires you?
  • Truly anyone who has overcome adversity and manages to still have love in their heart and is able to empathize with others and most importantly help others.

NICOLE

  • What are your 2021 resolutions?
  • To get married! We postponed our wedding due to COVID19, so this summer it. is. ON! In other areas, my resolutions are to help at least 15 families get into the home of their dreams here in Southern California, and to start working on a few remodeling projects.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • A sense of belonging... when you find a group of people that you admire, feel seen by, and aren't judged. that's the stuff.
  • Who inspires you?
  • Pretty much every female I know that has survived 2020... I see you working on your health, raising your kids at home, working via Zoom and just knowing that we're all doing our damn best to hold it together is pretty inspiring.

  • What are your 2021 resolutions?
  • My 2021 resolutions are to look for the good, give back to my community, and continue to prioritize self care.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • Community means everything to me! It sounds cheesy, but if there's one thing l've learned this past year it's how important the people in our lives are. I'm so grateful to have a strong community of people around me to keep me motivated, even on my lowest days.
  • Who inspires you?
  • I am inspired by so many people - my partner, my family, my friends, other people in the LEKFIT community, activists, health care workers, teachers, small businesses making it work in this crazy world...basically everyone making it work in these crazy times we're living in.

  • I'm not a big resolution person but my intentions are to work hard to see growth in my business, continue to build a healthy relationship with my body and enjoy the moments of joy.
  • What does community mean to you?
  • Community is the element that reminds you you're not alone. It's a place you can lean into when you need support and in turn can be leaned into when support is needed.
  • Who inspires you?
  • I'm inspired by women. women who continue to show up and support one another even when they are struggling. women who show up for themselves every day and keep going even when it's hard.
